Roman Road is excited to announce the opening of HADAL ZONE, a new solo show by multimedia artist Zoë Marden. Through an immersive exhibition, encompassing new aquatic and sensuous sculptures, Marden invites viewers to take a dive into the depths and potentials of their internal world within a space that explores the darker dimensions of desire. HADAL ZONE opens on Friday 10 November from 6 – 8 PM and will be on display at Roman Road’s gallery space in Bethnal Green until 01 December 2023.

 

On the occasion of the exhibition, a special sonic performance by the artist in collaboration with Mohammed Rowe, will take place at the gallery on the ultimate day at 7 PM, followed by a DJ set.

We are excited to soon be presenting a new solo show by Adam Waymouth at Roman Road’s gallery space in Bethnal Green. Titled The In-Between, this 3-day show focuses on Waymouth’s recent photographic body of work, a striking collection of black and white prints made from studying different forms. The In-Between opens on Friday 03 November from 6 – 8 PM and will be on display until 05 November 2023.

Roman Road is pleased to announce the opening of Shiny Sexy Soft, the first ever solo show by British artist DaddyBears. Through an immersive exhibition, encompassing unique textile sculptures and photographic works, DaddyBears reconceptualises snippets of her lived experiences within a space that creatively explores how people choose and present their habitats, what we can project onto a setting and what is projected onto us. Shiny Sexy Soft opens on Friday 13 October from 6 – 8 PM and will be on display at Roman Road’s gallery in Bethnal Green until 01 November 2023.
