EXHIBITION: Marie Orensanz at Pinacoteca de São Paulo

18 August – 19 November 2018

Works by Marie Orensanz are featured in the major group exhibition Radical Women: Latin American Art, 1960-1985, which will soon be on display at the Pinacoteca de São Paulo from 18 August – 19 November 2018. Curated by British Venezuelan art historian and curator Cecilia Fajardo-Hill and Argentine researcher Andrea Giunta, Radical Women is the first exhibition to bring to the public an extensive mapping of the experimental artistic practices by Latin American and Latina female artists and their pioneering contributions to contemporary art. Its presentation in São Paulo concludes the exhibition’s international tour, which commenced last year at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles. Radical Women will be on display on the first floor of the Pinacoteca and will bring together more than 280 works by the 120 participating artists.
